Every baseball player grows up imagining the feeling of getting their first MLB hit. Only a select few actually get to experience it.

New York Yankees rookie Ben Rice made sure to embody every young player across the globe when he got his Tuesday night.

Getting the call-up to the big leagues due to Anthony Rizzo's injury, Rice was slotted into the sixth spot in the order while playing first base.

The 25-year-old left got his first knock during his MLB debut in the bottom of the third inning, going 1-for-4 on the day.

The excitement and joy on his face before he even leaves the batter's box is as priceless as it gets.

How can you not be romantic about baseball?
