New York Yankees star Aaron Judge is enjoying another MVP season, and there are still two months left to play.

The 31-year-old slugger already has 40 home runs and 101 RBI on the season in only 109 games. He's been utterly dominant since the start of May, essentially giving the rest of the league an entire month's head start.

It's no surprise Judge is the favorite to win the American League MVP award, but there is some stiff competition for the honor.

However, BetOnline doesn't view it as much of a race. Judge has overwhelming odds (-800) to win the award with Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. (+400) coming in second on the list.

The next closest players in the odds are fellow Yankees star Juan Soto (+2800) and Baltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson (+2800).

While Witt (7.7) has a better fWAR than Judge (7.4) on the season, the Yankees captain dominates in every other category. Judge has better marks in home runs, RBI, walk rate, OPS and wRC+.

Since May 1, Judge has a 7.0 fWAR, according to Fangraphs. No other player in MLB has an fWAR above 6.0 during that span. Witt is the next closest player at 5.9.

Judge probably needs a little help if he's going to reach his own record of 62 home runs in a season, but the campaign he's put together is nothing short of historic in several ways.

The MVP race should be an interesting one down the stretch, but Judge is viewed as the overwhelming favorite with two months left to go.
