New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone was ejected for the fifth time this season on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays.

After Alex Verdugo was called out on strikes on a borderline pitch, Boone had words for home plate umpire Edwin Jiminez.

Boone continued to express his concerns in between innings, and Jiminez decided he had heard enough.

This was the pitch in question on Verdugo.

The Yankees have lost 19 of their last 28 games so Boone is probably trying to find some kind of spark for a team that needs to avoid a slump in the second half.
