New York Yankees top prospect Jasson Dominguez was placed on the seven-day injured list, per the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders.

It isn't clear what Domginuez is dealing with, but he just made his official return from a torn UCL that ended his 2023 season early.

The Yankees reinstated him from the 60-day injured list last week and optioned him to Triple-A.

Dominguez enjoyed an incredible return, including his rehab stint, which comprised of games at all three levels in the minor leagues.

In 23 games, Dominguez had a .356 average and 1.013 OPS to go along with six home runs, 13 RBI and 53 total bases.

Even though the Yankees outfield is stout with Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and Alex Verdugo, there was still an expectation that Dominguez would be called up later in the season.

Hopefully, the 21-year-old didn't suffer a setback with his UCL, but it won't be clear until a report comes out about his injury.
