New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole seems to be finding his form.

Making his third start of an injury rehab assignment as he works his way back from elbow nerve inflammation, Cole was dominant.

After making his first two rehab starts in Double-A Somerset, Cole made his third start in Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

It was nothing short of dominant.

Extending to 70 pitches, Cole tossed 4.1 innings allowing two hits, one run (not earned), no walks while striking out 10.

It's unclear what else Cole will need before returning to the active roster but the fact that he struck out 10 batters and extended to 70 pitches means he's getting extremely close.

The Yankees have a series against the Baltimore Orioles at home following the current road trip in Boston. Following that, they host the Atlanta Braves.

If Cole is feeling good enough, he could make his return during one of those series.
