The New York Yankees selected Alabama right-handed pitcher Ben Hess with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft.

At 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, Hess is MLB Pipeline's No. 41 overall player in the draft.

Hess features a mid-90s fastball that reaches 99, according to his scouting report from MLB Pipeline. He also mixes in a slider as his second pitch. He also features a curveball and a changeup.

In 15 starts during the 2024 season at Alabama, Hess logged 68.1 innings pitched with a 5.80 ERA, 106 strikeouts and 35 walks.

The estimated draft slot value for the No. 26 pick is $3.33 million.
