Shohei Ohtani simply cannot be stopped. After having his seven-game hitting streak snapped in Monday's 3-0 Dodgers win, he led off Tuesday's contest with his National League-best 24th home run of the season.
Ohtani has now driven in at least one run in nine consecutive games, and he has nine home runs in Los Angeles' last 14 games. At the time of his home run he was one behind Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson for second in Major League Baseball in home runs, and four off the pace of MLB leader Aaron Judge.
