Mookie Betts has done it again.
The Dodgers leadoff man opened the scoring Friday against the Reds with a solo shot off of Frankie Montas in the bottom of the first to give Los Angeles a 1-0 lead. It was the 51st leadoff home run of his career.
Betts ranks fifth all-time in leadoff HRs, and is now just two behind Craig Biggio for fourth, and three behind Alfonso Soriano for third.
Rickey Henderson is MLB's all-time leader in the category with 81 such HRs in his Hall-of-Fame career. Blue Jays outfielder George Springer is in second place at 57. He's one of only two other active player in the top 10 along with Charlie Blackmon of the Rockies.

Betts this season now has eight home runs to go along with an extremely impressive slash line of .346/.444/.571. If he continues hitting at this clip he will catapult way up the all-time leadoff home runs list this year.
