The Dodgers put up a three-spot in the first inning Tuesday night against the Rangers. They put up another trio of runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a rally that was started by the first base bag.
Dodgers second baseman Gavin Lux laced a one-out, one-hop ground ball that looked destined to be grabbed by Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe. Alas, the ball bounced off the bag and ricocheted high in the air, giving Lux time to leg out an infield single.
Lux had three hits in the Dodgers' series finale against the Yankees, and has now hit in four of his last six games.

The knock for Lux sparked a rally that saw the Dodgers load the bases for shortstop Mookie Betts, who started the night 0-for-2. Betts with two outs got a 2-0 sinker low and in and dropped his bat head on it to scorch a 107.6 MPH line drive to left. His double scored all three runners and put the Dodgers ahead 6-1.
