Freddie Freeman was originally in the Dodgers lineup for their Friday night game against the Astros, but he's now been scratched and replaced at first base by Cavan Biggio. Teoscar Hernandez will replace Freeman in the No. 3 spot in the lineup.

Freeman's wife, Chelsea, on Thursday posted on Instagram that the Freemans three-year-old son was dealing with an illness that had hospitalized him. The Dodgers first baseman has left the club to be with his family.

It's unclear how long Freeman will be away, but we're certainly wishing their family all the best as they deal with a scary situation.
