The Los Angeles Dodgers have a real chance to win the World Series this season.
Los Angeles has arguably the best roster on paper and finally is starting to get healthier. The Dodgers are in a good spot and could make a deep playoff run this year despite a recent cold stretch.
The Dodgers have too much talent not to make a statement but that also means that trades could be on the way after the season. Los Angeles can't hold on to everyone and former top prospect Gavin Lux was called the club's most likely trade candidate in 2025 by Bleacher Report's Zachary Rymer.
"Contract Status: $1.2 million salary, arbitration-eligible through 2026," Rymer said. "He never seemed to actually be on the trade block, but Lux was a popular source for speculation last winter. Which was understandable, as he looked like a change-of-scenery candidate even then.
"Now? Even more so. He's been healthy this year after missing all of 2023 with a torn ACL, yet he's still nothing close to the star the Dodgers hoped he would become. Trading him to clear the way for a middle infield upgrade would make sense."
He is no stranger to trade rumors and it wouldn't be shocking to see some pop up again. Los Angeles could end up being the market for starting pitching help and it wouldn't be shocking to see Lux dangled in a package for pitching.
