The Dodgers are adding some help to their bullpen. In exchange for cash considerations, Los Angeles acquired left-hander Anthony Banda from the Cleveland Guardians.

Banda, 30, has spent the entire season in AAA Columbus where he posted a 2.12 ERA in 17 innings across 12 appearances. He allowed 10 hits while walking six and striking out 25.

In seven seasons Banda is 7-6 with a 5.60 ERA in 90 games with six starts. He's given up 145 hits and 78 runs (75 earned) in 118.2 innings. Banda broke in with the Diamondbacks in 2017, but he's also spent time with the Rays, Pirates, Mets, Blue Jays, Yankees and Washington. He'd yet to pitch in the Majors this season.
