The Dodgers are coming off a sweep of the Atlanta Braves where they plated 20 runs in their three-game series. Los Angeles picked up right where they left off in Monday's series-opener against the Miami Marlins.

Walker Buehler struggled in his return to the mound and allowed two runs on three hits to a bad Marlins club in the first inning. Luckily for Buehler the Dodgers' offense is one of baseball's most prolific and they showed it in the bottom of the inning.

Mookie Betts led off with a walk against Roddery Munoz. Then Shohei Ohtani, who had three home runs in the final two games of the Braves series, tied the game with one swing. It was Ohtani's 11th home run of the year.

The tie didn't last long. Freddie Freeman stepped to the plate after Ohtani and followed his teammate's lead and blasted his third home run of the year over the centerfield fence to put the Dodgers ahead 3-2.

When the Dodgers are this hot at the plate there aren't that many teams that can hang with them.
