The Los Angeles Dodgers' top prospect is on fire.

23-year-old Dalton Rushing hit two home runs on Sunday for Double-A Tulsa Drillers, giving him 17 homers on the season.

Rushing, who is Los Angeles' No. 1 prospect according to MLB.com, now has seven home runs in his last 11 games.

What's most impressive about Rushing's recent hot streak is that he's played multiple positions throughout the stretch. SB Nation's Eric Stephen pointed out Rushing's versatility on Sunday.

"Dalton Rushing this week homered as a left fielder, a catcher, and (today, twice) as a DH," Stephen said.

Rushing can also play first base and presumably other positions on the diamond. His future in the big leagues could go in a number of directions, but his talent is clear.

Drafted No. 40 overall by the Dodgers in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft, Rushing is now slashing .270/ .378/ .512 on the season for Double-A Tulsa.

Los Angeles is focused on the present as they attempt to make a run for the franchise's eighth World Series title, but the Dodgers also have a lot to look forward to in the future.

Before long, Rushing will be getting his chance on the big stage.
