The Dodgers have dropped consecutive series to the Giants and Diamondbacks. Their two losses to close the series vs. Arizona weren't particularly close either with the Diamondbacks outscoring Los Angeles 21-7 over the final two games. Now LA's schedule gets even tougher with the National League Central leading Brewers coming to Dodger Stadium for a three-game bout. Milwaukee is one game behind LA in the overall NL standings.
The good news for the Dodgers is they have a major advantage in the pitching matchup in Game 1 of the series, which is scheduled for 7:10pm Pacific Time on Friday night. Tyler Glasnow, an NL Cy Young candidate, is on the mound for LA against Aaron Civale for the Brewers.

Prediction
Milwaukee has won only one of Civale's last 10 starts. He's pitched better lately, but it isn't as though he's been lights out. Meanwhile, Glasnow is coming off one of his worst starts of the year against the Giants. This is the type of game LA brought Glasnow in for. The Brewers offense is one of the highest-scoring in baseball and they don't strike out a ton. Glasnow is very good at missing bats though and he should be able to keep Milwaukee at bay long enough for the Dodgers' offense to get to Civale.
