The Dodgers on Sunday afternoon will go for a sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers. They're heavily favored to pull off the sweep with rookie left-hander Justin Wrobleski making his MLB debut against Dallas Keuchel.

Wrobleski's ascension to the Major League roster comes as a bit of a surprise. He started the season in Double-A and made two Triple-A starts before getting called up for a spot start with the big club. He has a 3.23 ERA and 79 strikeouts in 78.0 MiLB innings this season. He'll be up to eat innings while Bobby Miller gets an extra day between starts. If he pitches well though the Dodgers may opt to keep him in the rotation while they await reinforcements coming off the IL.

He'll make his debut against Keuchel, a veteran lefty who has started only two games for Milwaukee this season. Keuchel has a 6.75 ERA after allowing seven runs in 9.1 innings across his two starts.  He hasn't had an ERA below 5.00 over a full season since 2019.

Here's what Sunday's odds look like at BetMGM:

Run line

Brewers +1.5: -130
Dodgers -1.5: +110

Moneyline

Brewers: +150
Dodgers: -185

Total

Over 9.5 runs: -105
Under 9.5 runs: -115

Prediction

The Dodgers should be able to touch up Keuchel early in this one which would give Wrobleski a nice runway to settle into his first Major League start. Los Angeles would love to see the rookie get through five or six innings before handing it off to the bullpen.

Wrobleski should have a bit of an advantage the first time through the order since the Brewers don't have any ABs against him. However, if he starts missing spots and getting behind in counts it could snowball quickly against a good Brewers club that's looking to avoid being swept.

We'll lean toward the home team and some runs here.

Dodgers 8, Brewers 6
