The Los Angeles Dodgers certainly have a strong chance of representing the National League in the World Series this season.

Los Angeles has more star power than any other team in baseball and is loaded all throughout the roster. While this is the case, the Dodgers could use an upgrade at shortstop this winter either through a trade or in free agency.

Because of this, MLB.com's Mark Feinsand linked the Dodgers to Milwaukee Brewers star shortstop Willy Adames.

"A number of top shortstops have hit free agency in recent years, with Corey Seager, Trea Turner, Xander Bogaerts, Carlos Correa, and Dansby Swanson all cashing in with big free-agent deals," Feinsand said. "Coming off another strong offensive season, Adames will be the top shortstop available this winter, and although his defensive metrics haven’t been as strong in 2024, he remains a solid fielder. Potential fits: (Toronto Blue Jays), Dodgers, (and) (San Francisco Giants)."

Adames would fit in great with Los Angeles. He is having one of the best seasons of his career and is slashing .252/.334/.450 with 22 home runs and 85 RBIs in 125 games played. He immediately would fill the Dodgers' biggest roster hole and certainly won't cost as much as someone like Bogaerts or Correa did in free agency.

Los Angeles already has an expensive roster but still has been linked to every big-name player that could be available. It's unclear how they would afford Adames, but a move would make a lot of sense.
