The Boston Red Sox welcomed the New York Yankees back to Fenway Park for their second meeting of the series on Saturday night, and Alex Cora's squad earned an 8-4 win to tie the series at one game each.

Boston's offense got all over Yankees starter Carlos Rodon, scoring five runs in the first two innings. They scored three more later in the seventh and eighth. RBIs came from Jarren Duran (2-for-5), Tyler O'Neill (2-for-5), Rafael Devers (1-for-4 with a walk), Connor Wong (1-for-3 with a walk) and Jamie Westbrook (1-for-3). While rookie Ceddanne Rafaela didn't drive in a run, he did go 3-for-4 on the night.

The Red Sox started Cooper Criswell, who got his pitch count racked up early after allowing two runs on three hits and two walks, leading to a hook after four innings. Justin Slaten pitched 2 2/3 innings of one-run ball to earn the win. Brennan Bernadino, Greg Weissert and Kenley Jansen followed with the final 2 1/3, and Weissert was the only one who allowed a run.

This win brings Boston back to one game over .500 (36-50) and 17-20 at Fenway park. These two teams will meet for the finale on Sunday with the winner taking the series.
