The Boston Red Sox took on the Chicago White Sox on Saturday at Guaranteed Rate Field and were handed their second loss in as many games.

Boston's offense was slow to get anything going again. They recorded just five hits and six walks, but they struck out 13 times and left nine men on base.

Only Connor Wong (1-for-3), Bobby Dalbec (1-for-3 with a solo home run) and David Hamilton (2-for-4) and Ceddanne Rafaela (1-for-4) got hits.

Red Sox starter Brayan Bello cruised through the first four innings, but things fell apart in the fifth, as he gave up five runs. Those were the only five runs he allowed, and he did so on nine hits and three walks while striking out just two.

Zack Kelly came in to get the team out of the fifth, recording a single out before giving way to Chase Anderson for the last three innings, who gave up a solo home run and a walk.

Boston has fallen back below .500 (32-33) and will have a chance to split the series on Sunday afternoon.
