Injuries continue to be an issue for the 2024 Boston Red Sox.

During the second inning of their Saturday game against the Detroit Tigers at Fenway Park, Red Sox second baseman Vaughn Grissom grabbed his leg on a grounder to third base. He was removed from the game and was replaced by catcher Connor Wong.

Boston announced later in the game that Grissom is dealing with a hamstring strain.

The first-year Red Sox is hitting just .148 this season after Boston acquired him this offseason in the Chris Sale trade.

Grissom also started the year on the injured list.
