The Boston Red Sox downed the Oakland Athletics 12-9 on Friday night at Fenway Park due to an eight-run second inning that was started and finished by first baseman Dom Smith.

Smith drew a walk as the first batter in the inning and then hit a solo shot to right field to score the team's 11th run of the night later in the same frame.

After the game, injured Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas showed off more of his eccentric personality, as he took the mic for NESN and did the post-game interview with Smith.

Casas is a natural on television. Between this and his crazy interview for Father's Day a few weeks back, someone is going to pay him a lot of money to broadcast for them when his playing career is over.
