On Saturday, while they were busy beating the Chicago Cubs 17-0, the Boston Red Sox moved first baseman Triston Casas, according to Chris Cotillo.

Casas originally landed on the 10-day injured list six last Sunday after suffering torn cartilage in his ribs.

This means the earliest he'll be able to return is late-June

In the 22 games that Casas appeared in, he hit .244 with six home runs and an .857 OPS.

This transaction allows the Red Sox to open a roster spot for Garrett Cooper, who the Red Sox acquired from the Cubs on Sunday.

Hopefully, Boston can get healthy and see what their team is like at full health. By then, however, they might be completely out of it.
