After losing two games to the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Boston Red Sox have traded one of their players to them.
Boston announced on Thursday that they sent Zack Short to the Braves for cash considerations.
Short was designated for assignment on Wednesday after going 0-for-7 in his two appearances for the Red Sox since being acquired from the New York Mets for cash as well.
At least Boston will get something back for Short instead of losing him on waivers.
