The Boston Red Sox entered Monday afternoon's game against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards with a chance to start the three-game series off on a good note, but they were handed an 11-3 loss instead.

Boston's starter Cooper Criswell, who had been surprisingly strong for the team this year, struggled in this one. He gave up seven runs (six earned) in his four innings of work.

Brad Keller didn't do much better in his debut for the Red Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits in his four innings.

Boston's offense wasn't great. They recorded eight hits and struck out 10 times. Their only runs came on a three-run triple in the top of the eighth inning by Romy Gonzalez (1-for-4). Rob Refsnyder (2-for-5) is the only member of the team to record multiple hits.

The Red Sox have now lost all four of their matchups against the Orioles so far this season and have fallen to 27-27 on the year. They'll have a chance to even the series at one game apiece on Tuesday.
