The Boston Red Sox have one of the most iconic jerseys in baseball, as they don the home whites with "Red Sox" written across the chest.
However, in recent years, they've been changing things up with blue and red alternates and the City Connect yellow and blue jerseys.
According to MassLive's Chris Cotillo, Boston is changing things up for the 2025 season, shelving the blue alternates and moving the yellow City Connect jerseys to an alternate. They'll also be getting a new City Connect jersey next year.
The Red Sox have been incredible in their yellow jerseys since adding them to the rotation in 2021, and while the vocal minority has hated on them, the majority of their fans have shown an appreciation for the kit.
It will be interesting to see what they choose for the new City Connects. It would be awesome if they did either a reverse of the current (mostly powder blue with hints of yellow) or something related to the Green Monster.
But we probably won't find out until this winter.
