The Boston Red Sox finished the 2024 season with an 81-81 record and failed to make the postseason for the third season in a row, making it just the second time they've accomplished that feat in 30 years.

As eyes turn toward Boston's future, it's hard to not get excited about the young prospects they have that could make quite an impact whether they arrive at the start of the 2025 season or a few seasons down the road.

On Thursday night, MLB Pipeline released their Top 100 prospects at the end of the 2024 season, and the Red Sox had six players make the cut - Roman Anthony (No. 3), Marcelo Mayer (No. 7), Kristian Campbell (No. 10), Kyle Teel (No. 25), Braden Montgomery (No. 54) and Franklin Arias (No. 95).

Boston's cabinet of prospects has received a lot of praise. Anthony is Baseball America's top prospect in baseball, and Campbell was named the Minor League Hitting Prospect of the Year and Breakout Player of the Year.

Anthony, Mayer, Campbell and Teel all have a chance to make the roster in Spring Training while Arias and Montgomery are a bit further off.

The Red Sox will either have an MLB roster loaded with young talent in a few years, or they'll use some of these names to trade for established big leaguers who are known commodities and can make a more immediate impact.

Either way, the future is bright for Alex Cora's club.
