The Boston Red Sox roster is loaded with a lot of young players who could become household names in the future, but at the moment, they don't have many stars.
That's a fairly new thing for an organization that's won four World Series since the turn of the century. In fact, for years, Boston's lineup was loaded with home-run hitters who could change the game in an instant.
Manny Ramirez was one of those players who inspired a generation of Red Sox fans, including Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis, who recently told a fan at training camp that he modeled his swing after the righty.

Ramirez spent eight seasons in Boston, winning two World Series and hitting .312 with a .999 OPS, 274 home runs and 868 RBIs.
On top of that, he was an electric personality that fans gravitated to. That's the type of player that the Red Sox need in the coming years, and there might be one or two of them in the system at some level.
