After the Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Yankees 5-3 in extra innings on Friday, the two teams will meet again for the middle game of the series on Saturday with the Red Sox having a chance to earn a series win.

For the matchup, Boston will send Josh Winckowski to the mound while New York will counter with Gerrit Cole.

Here's what Alex Cora's lineup will look like for Game 2:

Winchkowski has been really good for Boston this year, posting a 2.80 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP while striking out 28 in his 14 appearances (four starts). He threw five scoreless innings against the San Diego Padres in his last start. Only one active Yankee has a hit off of him in his career - Trevino (1-for-2 with an RBI).

Cole has struggled for the Yankees in his three outings, recording a 6.23 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP while striking out 11. His last outing was his best of the year so far, allowing just one run on three hits and a walk over five innings against the Toronto Blue Jays. Four active Red Sox have hits against him - Devers (12-for-38 with seven home runs, 17 RBIs and seven walks), Duran (3-for-12 with two walks), McGuire (1-for-13 with a home run and two RBIs), Smith (1-for-2 with a solo home run).
