The Boston Red Sox, after earning a 4-0 win on Tuesday, are set to host the San Francisco Giants for the second game of three at Fenway Park on Wednesday night.

For the matchup, the Red Sox will send Kutter Crawford to the mound, and they'll also get their first look at their new first baseman, who the team signed on Wednesday.

Here's what Alex Cora's lineup looks like for Game 2 of the series:

  1. Jarren Duran CF
  2. Rafael Devers 3B
  3. Rob Refsnyder LF
  4. Tyler O'Neill DH
  5. Wilyer Abreu RF
  6. Connor Wong C
  7. Dominic Smith 1B
  8. Enmanuel Valdez 2B
  9. Ceddanne Rafaela SS

Crawford has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season, as he's posted a 1.35 ERA (second in the MLB) and a 1.11 WHIP while striking out 34 in his 33 1/3 innings of work over six starts in 2024. Four Giants have recorded hits off of him in their career - Matt Chapman (3-for-6), Tom Murphy (2-for-2), Michael Conforto (1-for-3 with an RBI) and Wilmer Flores (1-for-3).

San Francisco will start Erik Miller for this contest. In his 13 appearances this season (none of them starts), he's allowed a 5.54 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in 13 innings of work. He's also struck out 17 batters. No members of Boston's lineup have ever faced the 26-year-old.

A win for the Red Sox would improve their record to 18-13 and 7-8 at home. It would also make it four victories in a row for Cora's squad, and they'd earn the series win with a chance to sweep on Thursday.
