While Kiké Hernández played for the Boston Red Sox, he was a fan favorite, bringing a different energy to Fenway Park throughout his tenure.

However, after a tough run in 2023, Boston traded Hernandez back to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he re-signed with the team for the 2024 season.

In Friday's battle between the Dodgers and the New York Yankees on AppleTV+, Hernandez was mic'd up while playing the field. He misplayed a ball hit to him at third base in the second inning, leading to an error and an extremely awkward silence during for the broadcast.

What does the booth say after that? Hernandez probably isn't in the best mood to joke about it, and any type of encouragement would feel condescending. Maybe the silence was the best option.
