Boston Red Sox star shortstop Trevor Story has made his return, and fans could not be happier. In his return, he has elevated the offense and defense of the Sox.

When his return was announced, fans were excited to see their star back in action. Since his return yesterday, Story has hit 2-7, and gotten one RBI. He is only two games in after a long time away, so it is to be expected.

However, his defense has been phenomenal, and fans are loving it. Since the Sox have been the worst team in the MLB when it comes to defense, he is a welcome sight.

Story has been one of the main leaders of this team since he joined, along with Rafael Devers. His proneness to injury has hurt his playing value, but his intangibles have been felt over his Boston career.

Now, with the playoffs on the line, hopefully he gets hot, and leads the Sox offense back to greatness, and pulls the defense back from the dumpster.

Story and the Red Sox will host the Baltimore Orioles tomorrow at 7:10pm EST.
