Rafael Devers' two-HR day leads Red Sox to 9-0 win over Braves image

The Boston Red Sox welcomed the Atlanta Braves to Fenway Park on Wednesday afternoon for the second of a two-game set, and the home team earned a 9-0 win.

Boston's offense woke up for this one, as they recorded 13 hits and three walks while striking out just eight times.

Rafael Devers (2-for-3 with a walk) drove in three runs on two home runs. The other runs came from Jarren Duran (2-for-5 with a home run and a triple), Enmanuel Valdez (1-for-4), Tyler O'Neill (2-for-4), Dominic Smith (2-for-3) David Hamilton (1-for-3) and Reese McGuire (0-for-3).

Red Sox starter Nick Pivetta was impressive after struggling during his last time out against this team. In this one, he allowed just one hit and two walks over his seven innings while striking out nine.

Zack Kelly and Brad Keller closed it out with a scoreless inning each.

This win brings Boston back to 31-31 on the season and 14-18 at home. Now, they'll hit the road for a four-game series against the Chicago White Sox starting on Thursday.
