At this moment, the Atlanta Braves are looking like playoff contenders. Despite a tough loss against the Chicago White Sox, the Braves have the fourth-best record in the National League.

However, getting there won't be easy as Atlanta's star player Ronald Acuña Jr. is on the 60-day injury list with a knee injury. If they want to guarantee their spot in the playoffs, the Braves need to make a move come the trade deadline.

Fortunately, there are plenty of prime candidates that the Braves could trade for soon. According to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, one of the best options is Luis Rengifo of the Los Angeles Angels.

"Rengifo has four homers, 20 RBIs, 18 stolen bases, and a .313/.359/.428 slash line this season, and he is among the most versatile players who figure to be available this summer," said Feinsand. "The 27-year-old switch-hitter has started 30 games at third base and 21 at second this season, along with one at shortstop; he’s also played all three outfield spots during his career. Rengifo – who is earning $4.4 million this season and has one more year of arbitration eligibility – is an ideal candidate for a club seeking infield help."

Trading for Rengifo is a smart move for the Braves because of his ability to adapt to basically any position, and with the Angels likely looking to rebuild for next season, Rengifo could be one of many Los Angeles players heading to Atlanta soon.
