The Atlanta Braves are one of the most deep teams in baseball but the depth certainly is being tested.

Atlanta hasn't been at full strength for seemingly a single game this season and yet it is one of just a handful of National League clubs that actually are above .500.

The Braves still are considered World Series contenders despite losing Spencer Strider and Ronald Acuña Jr. and that is a testament to how deep the overall roster is.

If the Braves have a solid trade deadline, they certainly could compete for a World Series title. It's clear they will be busy around the trade deadline and one player who was floated as a possible option is Oakland Athletics utility man Miguel Andújar by MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.

"Andújar has hit well since making his season debut on May 24, batting .330 with two homers and 14 RBIs in 23 games," Feinsand said. "The 29-year-old is on his third team since 2022, but given his $1.7 million salary and an additional year of control, Andujar could be a low-cost acquisition for a club seeking a right-handed outfield bat. Potential fits: Braves, (Pittsburgh Pirates), (and) (Minnesota Twins)."

Andújar would be a very intriguing pickup for the Braves. He can play all over the field and is slashing .317/.333/.426 in 25 games played. Andújar is just 29 years old and has spent time with the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Athletics so far throughout his career.

If the Braves are looking to add, they should call the Athletics about the slugger.
