We are through two days at the Masters and Tiger Woods is just one stroke off the lead.
Woods overcame a short lightning delay and rode six birdies to a 4-under 68 on Friday. He is 6 under par for the tournament and in a tie for sixth place, sitting just one stroke behind a quintet of leaders. Woods has been in the top six through the first two days of all 14 of his major wins.
There were a couple of memorable holes during Woods’ round Friday. He was the first golfer to birdie the 11th hole and had a magical approach shot out of the rough on the 14th hole, followed by a 28-foot putt, to gain another stroke.

Despite Woods’ successful round, there were some scary moments mixed in. When play resumed following the delay, the four-time Masters champ missed a pair of makeable birdie putts, ruining some of his momentum.
Woods also came up gimpy during a freak incident when a security guard slipped on his ankles at the 14th hole. That didn’t seem to bother Woods, though, as he connected on back-to-back birdies and quelled any doubts that the delay or the guard had hurt him.
