Paul Pogba has returned to Manchester United's starting XI for Thursday's Europa League semi-final first-leg against Celta Vigo.

The midfielder is one of six changes to the first-team that started Saturday's 1-1 draw with Swansea, while Eric Bailly has recovered from a muscle injury which forced him off early in the 1-1 tie.

Sergio Romero takes over from David de Gea in goal once more, and Antonio Valencia is back in the starting XI following his lengthy stint as substitute against the Swans. The other changes see Matteo Darmian, Marouane Fellaini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan step in.

Ashley Young, Michael Carrick, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial all drop to the bench, while Juan Mata and Chris Smalling are also among the substitutes as they look to make returns after six-week spells out through injury.

Celta starting XI: Sergio, Hugo Mallo, Cabral, Roncaglia, Jonny, Radoja, Wass, Pablo Hernandez, Iago Aspas, Guidetti, Sisto.

Subs: Ivan Villar, Fontas, Marcelo Diaz, Bongonda, Beauvue, Jozabed, Sergi Gomez.

Man Utd starting XI: Romero, Valencia, Bailly, Blind, Darmian, Herrera, Pogba, Lingard, Fellaini, Mkhitaryan, Rashford.

Subs: De Gea, Mata, Rooney, Martial, Smalling, Carrick, Young.
