Pogba has visited Mecca before to perform the tradition of the Hajj, the pilgrimage which must be made at least once in every adult Muslim's life and which is one of the five pillars of the Islamic faith.

The Frenchman was struck by personal tragedy earlier this month when his father passed away.

Man Utd gave him personal time off but he returned in style, scoring in both the club's final two games of the season, including the Europa League final.
