Manchester City wrapped up the Premier League title on April 15, with a record-equalling five games to spare, but they made further history with Wednesday's victory over Brighton.

Below, Goal takes a look at all of the records that Pep Guardiola's men have broken, and which ones could still fall on Sunday...

Before this season, the record number of wins for a single Premier League campaign was 30 – a mark set by Antonio Conte's Chelsea a year ago.

However, City's defeat of Brighton took them to 31 victories, which means that they have also equalled the all-time record for an English top-flight season – previously held exclusively by Tottenham Hotspur (1960-61)

Guardiola's side can now claim the record outright if they beat Southampton in their final fixture, on Sunday.

Chelsea's 2004-05 side loved travelling, winning 15 times away from home, the only team to do so in the Premier League era.

City, though, have won 15 times on the road already and could break the record if they win at Southampton this weekend.

Jose Mourinho's Chelsea racked up 95 points in winning the 2004-05 Premier League title but that historic haul has now been bettered by City, who reached 97 points with their win over Brighton.

As already mentioned, City still another game to play, they could also become the first English team to reach the 100-point mark across a single top-flight campaign.

Chelsea took 48 points in the 2004-05 season on the road, and City have so far taken 47.

Victory at Southampton on Sunday would give them 50 – and yet another record.

Goals Scored

Carlo Ancelotti's Chelsea scored 103 goals in claiming the 2009-10 Premier League title but City  surpassed that tally thanks to Wednesday's 2-1 win over Brighton.

Ominously, they now have another game in which to add to their remarkable haul of 104 goals .

Points Ahead Of Second

City are now 20 points clear of second-placed Manchester United, meaning they are also in contention to post the biggest ever margin of victory in Premier League history.

The record currently belongs to United, who finished 18 ahead of Arsenal in 1999-2000.

However, it is worth pointing out that Jose Mourinho's men can reduce their arrears to 17 points if they win their game in hand, at West Ham on Thursday.
