M-League organiser Football Malaysia LLP (FMLLP) has announced that Premier League side Terengganu are seeking to drop former Malaysia goalkeeper Sharbinee Allawee from their squad registration.

According to a brief post on FMLLP's social media, the Turtles are seeking to replace Sharbinee with another goalkeeper, as the 30-year old is currently 'critically ill' and requires intensive treatment that will keep him out for the rest of the 2017 season.

His replacement has not been announced, while the exact nature of Sharbinee's illness was also not revealed.

Terengganu are currently in the second place of the second division, seeking a quick return to the Super League after they were relegated at the conclusion of the 2016 season.

Sharbinee has won the 2010 AFF Cup with Malaysia, and the 2011 FA Cup with the Turtles. He has played for Terengganu throughout his whole senior career, except for a one-season stint with Selangor in 2013.
