Kelantan main advisor and funder Tan Sri Annuar Musa has promised to settle the club's unpaid wages to former players and officials by the end of this year, according to BHOnline.

In an Aidilfitri celebration event held at his home in Sri Puri, Bukit Marak on Monday, the former Kelantan FA chairman said that the Red Warriors will arrange a payment schedule.

"We will work out a schedule for the payments so the debts can be paid as demanded by FMLLP (M-League organiser Football Malaysia LLP).

"The Employees Provident Fund arrears amounting to RM300,000 and debts to government agencies have also been discussed. The debts we incurred in 2016 will be settled," promised Annuar.

He also said that he hopes that FMLLP will allow Kelantan to field one of their two mid-season transfer window foreign signings; L'Imam Seydi for the remainder of the season.

FMLLP last week issued a statement saying that the French-Senegalese forward's signing does not adhere to the new signing embargo placed on the Red Warriors due to their unsettled debts, and he may be barred from playing for the East Coast side.

"Imam's signing is important to the Red Warriors, in order to strengthen our attack.

"I will fight to the very end to ensure that Kelantan remain in the Super League and avoid relegation," said the politician.
