Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) have promoted young striker Hadi Fayyadh Abdul Razak from feeder club JDT II, announced M-League organiser Football Malaysia LLP (FMLLP) on Thursday evening.
According to FMLLP, the move has been allowed under the feeder club agreement between the two sides, which had been announced by FMLLP almost two weeks ago.
JDT are currently in the midst of strengthening their squad following several underwhelming results brought about by the sacking of former head coach Mario Gomez and the appointment of JDT II's Benjamin Mora, the latest being their away 2-1 league defeat to Perak last Saturday.
The 17-year old has been in-form, having scored three goals in the for JDT II this season.
This however is not the first time that Super League club JDT have promoted a JDT II player this season. In the same announcement that revealed the feeder club agreement almost two weeks ago, it was announced that Argentinian forward Gabriel Guerra would be promoted. The 23-year old has since scored two goals for the Southern Tigers in four appearances.
