Mesut Ozil may have struggled for Arsenal against Stoke City, but he won't have been expecting to be made fun of by the police!
The Gunners could not break through against the Potters at the bet365 Stadium as new signing Jese Rodriguez scored the lone goal in a 1-0 Stoke win.
Arsenal and their fans may have been aggrieved as the Gunners had multiple controversial calls go against them in the defeat, including having a goal ruled out on a very close offside decision.
A Gunners fan decided to be cheeky and tweet at the Stoke police department, telling them that he would like to report a robbery.
However the police force took it in stride and replied with a jab at the often maligned Ozil.
<apologies for the delay in replying. We've been busy looking for a missing person, surname Ozil. Have you seen him? #Banter

The police tweeted on Sunday: “Apologies for the delay in replying. We’ve been busy looking for a missing person, surname Ozil. Have you seen him?”
It may have been misplaced in this case - Ozil did complete 93 per cent of his passes in the defeat and likely wasn't the main problem for Arsenal in the loss.
But regardless of the stats, the Stoke police have bragging rights in this little feud, delivering a blow more incisive than anything Ozil, or his Gunners team-mates, could come up with Saturday.
