Daniel Sturridge has endured his fair share of injury struggles in recent times, but the Liverpool striker is already working towards 2017-18.

After a productive start to his career at Anfield, the England international has seen his progress hampered by niggling knocks.

Sturridge has made just 35 Premier League appearances across the last three seasons, with limited game time in the 2016-17 campaign restricting him to just seven goals in all competitions.

His future has been called into question as a result, with Jurgen Klopp often favouring other options, but Sturridge has taken to social media to prove that he is committed to rediscovering peak form.

Sturridge joined Liverpool from Chelsea in January 2013 for £12 million.

He netted 11 times in 14 appearances through to the end of that season, before finding the target 24 times the following year.

The 27-year-old has reached double figures just once since, with regular spells on the treatment table proving to be frustrating for all concerned.

Liverpool are being linked with alternative striking options ahead of the summer transfer window, with it now up to Sturridge to prove his worth to Klopp or other potential new bosses elsewhere.
