Lionel Messi is currently the top scorer in Europe across all competitions.

The Barcelona star has had a remarkable start to the 2017-18 La Liga campaign, scoring 11 league goals in just seven appearances. The Camp Nou side currently hold a 100% record in the Spanish top tier, sitting five points clear at the top of the pile and some seven points above Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid. He has also weighed in with three goals in other competitions.

Lukaku/Lacazette both to score - now 4/1

Lazio and Italy forward Ciro Immobile is close behind Messi, having scored 13 goals in 10 outings, including nine Serie A goals for the capital side. Immobile and his club-mates travel to Turin this weekend to take on current Scudetto holders Juventus.

Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is level on overall goals with Immobile, having scored 13 in 11 games, but is one behind in regards to league strikes. From his seven Bundesliga appearances this season, the Gabon international has notched eight goals.

Monaco's Falcao, Juventus' Paulo Dybala and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski are next in line, all of whom have scored 12 goals across all competitions in the current season. All of Falcao's goals have come in Ligue 1, while Dybala has 10 Serie A goals, and Lewandowski has eight in the Bundesliga.
