AFC Leopards youngster Vincent Oburu has been recalled to Harambee Stars’ camp ahead of their friendly match against DR Congo set for Sunday at Machakos County Stadium.
The striker was among five players dropped prior to Kenya’s match against Uganda but he will now stand a chance of making national team debut on Sunday following Coach Stanley Okumbi’s decision to include him in the list.

The development has been necessitated by the fact that two players at the camp in Musa Mohammed and Anthony Akumu are nursing injuries picked against Uganda.
Football Kenya Federation's communication official Barry Otieno has confirmed to Goal that the two players have not trained since then terming Oburu’s inclusion as a back-up move.
“Yes, Oburu (Vincent) has been recalled to the camp. He will probably act as a back-up because Musa (Mohammed) and Akumu (Anthony) have not trained since Friday.”
Okumbi will confirm a 10-match unbeaten streak if Harambee Stars win or draw against DR Congo.
