Juventus vs Real Madrid team news: Bale benched, Isco starts for Blancos image

Gareth Bale is on the bench for Real Madrid as they visit Juventus in their Champions League quarter-final first leg on Tuesday.

Despite scoring a double against Las Palmas in La Liga at the weekend, Bale has not been included in Zinedine Zidane's XI at the Allianz Stadium.

However, Isco does make Zidane's lineup against the Serie A champions, despite not starting the second leg against PSG in the last 16.

Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez is out of the squad due to a thigh injury that will see him sidelined for two weeks.

For Juventus, defender Mehdi Benatia and midfielder Miralem Pjanic are both suspended.

The game at Allianz Stadium will be a rematch of last season's Champions League final, which Zidane's side easily won 4-1.

Madrid XI: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Kroos, Casemiro, Isco, Modric; Ronaldo, Benzema

Subs: Casilla, Vallejo, Bale, Hernandez, Vazquez, Asensio, Kovacic

Juventus XI: Buffon; De Sciglio, Barzagli, Chiellini, Asamoah; Khedira, Bentancur; Douglas Costa, Dybala, Alex Sandro; Higuain

Subs: Szczesny, Rugani, Lichtsteiner, Matuidi, Marchisio, Cuadrado, Mandzukic
