In some good news for Indian football fans, Kushal Das has penned a contract extension which shall see him continue to don the role of the All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) general secretary until the end of 2019.
It must be noted that Das’ contract was due to expire in December last year but after some fruitful talks, an agreement was reached.
Das first joined the AIFF in October 2010 as he succeeded Alberto Colaco as it took more than 14 months for the federation to finally decide upon the new general secretary.
