Home side Bengaluru FC hammered the Mumbai outfit 3-0 on Wednesday evening. CK Vineeth's hat-trick bagged the three points for Sunil Chhetri and co.

Speaking on the victory, coach Albert Roca expressed his happiness. Also, he stressed on the need for enhancement in the squad's form.

''I am satisfied with the result but we still need to keep working in our areas of improvement,'' said the Spaniard.

Applauding the goal-scorer of the evening, Roca stated that the Kerala Blasters' man delivered a splendid performance.

''(CK) Vineeth deserved the hat-trick. He did a good job today. I want my strikers to score,'' he commented.

Bengaluru face East Bengal and DSK Shivajians in the upcoming fixtures. Manager Roca claimed that his side is all set for the big clashes.

''We have some difficult fixtures ahead so we’ll try to repeat the same performance as we had at home. We are mentally ready for it,'' explained the 54-year-old.

As for visitors Mumbai, gaffer Santosh Kashyap believed that the team failed to register a win as Bengaluru's attacking game got the better of The Mumbaikars. Further, he revealed that the players failed to perform well due to lack of understanding of the coach's orders.

''We tried our best but Bengaluru FC attack fantastically and attack very well. We struggled today and didn’t find chances. The players couldn’t follow my instructions,'' he discussed.

Youngster Hitesh Sharma, who played until the final whistle, impressed the former Royal Wahingdoh manager. The 50-year-old promises to turn Sharma into a sensational product.

''Hitesh Sharma is doing great, watch him out in the future, I’ll make him a star! I am confident of his abilities,'' he asserted.

Kashyap, who is a connoisseur of attacking football, failed to inculcate his philosophy against The Blues. On being asked about it, he answered that Mumbai cannot afford to follow the philosophy against big teams.

''My philosophy is about attacking football. But I cannot do that against a big team like Bengaluru (FC). If I go for an open play, they will kill us! So I have to change the strategy as per the situation,'' he signed off.
