Reigning champion Hebron Christian was one of the top national title candidates out there until season-ending injuries to Aubrey Beckham and Gabby Minus took the wind out of its sails. Nonetheless, the Lions have lost only to fellow state finalist Langston Hughes, an excellent team that they also beat, and Hebron Christian has wins over many in-state contenders plus Florida heavyweights IMG Academy and Palm Bay. The Lions are led by a slew of standout seniors, forward Ja'kerra Butler (Auburn), guard/forward Danielle Osho (Miami), and point guards MJ James (George Washington) and Camryn Register.
Holy Innocents' features 5-star Stanford commit and McDonald's All-American Hailee Swain. She's flanked by a slew of talented underclassmen, including sophomore forward Nakhai Worthy, sophomore guard Makayla Weaver, and freshman post Loriel Murray.
