The Finale is almost here. The PGA Tour regular season comes to a close at the Wyndham Championship, and the FedEx Cup playoffs will be decided. Until then, it's the last shot for players to make a statement.
From August 8-11, golfers will take the course at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, for their last shot at becoming one of 70 players to qualify for the FedEx Cup events, which begin almost immediately after with three weeks' worth of playoff events.
The stakes are higher for no one besides Lucas Glover, the 2023 Wyndham Championship victor. The defending winner sits at 71st in FedEx Cup standings, just outside the cut, with two tournaments to go. He'll have to compete against a handful of former champions, though, if he wants to at least defend his title in Greensboro.
It's the end of the beginning.

Tickets for this year's Wyndham Championship are available on StubHub.
Passes can be purchased in a single-day selection or as one of two week-long passes. Fans can choose a multi-day ticket that covers Wednesday's Pro-Am play as well as the four days of play or one that begins Thursday for the official tournament.
Currently, the cheapest ticket for the August 7-11 pass is $1,120 while the cheapest ticket for the August 8-11 is $1,400. Only a handful of passes remain, though.
Single-day ticket prices begin at about $40 regardless of day selection.
